Hi, I followed the link to your web site. I've been meaning to write to you for a while. I'm really not very good with words sometimes. My initial reaction is always to get angry and emotional when good people suffer, and so I don't often express myself very well. Thanks for sharing your family, I think that you've done an incredible job memorializing all of you children. Also the fact that you've shared your story is a great gift to others. It shows strength and love in the face of the most difficult circumstances. Emme was gorgeous, it must have been so difficult to loose her after going through so much, and coming so close to saving her; especially being able to hold her. I don't know which is more difficult, to loose a child during pregnancy or to actually get to know them living and then loose them. I've only experienced loosing a baby which I never got to hold. My heart breaks for the thought of being soo close and loosing them anyway. I've never heard the song "I Will" before but it's beautiful. I think you're amazing! |
| Hi Eric & Brina, I am from Melbourne Australia. I am currently 13 weeks pregnant with my second child and was searching for ultrasound pictures on the internet when I came across your website. I have had 9 miscarriages in the past 4 years ranging from 4 weeks to 14 weeks, your story really struck a cord with me. I was reading it at my work PC when I broke down in tears. I cant believe the bad luck you have had. I think you are both such strong people as well as truly blessed to have your gorgeous son Jonathan who I am sure you love so very much. During the miscarriages and the mourning that I did over my babies, my partner and I had our fair share of emotional battles but it is amazing how much closer you can truly come to another person. I have a 15 month old daughter for whom I thank God everyday for blessing me with, she was born with dislocated hips and an enlarged liver and spleen but is now doing well. I would love to hear back from you to make sure that all is going well. Regards |
